Microgrids

When sustainability and protection are important, a microgrid may be the best solution. A microgrid combines the best qualities of different technologies, such as:

• Solar power – low-cost energy during daylight hours to power your operations and recharge batteries
• Battery Energy Storage System (“BESS”) – provides effective short-term outage protection and ride-through to a genset
• Generators (“Gensets”) – typically powered by natural gas or diesel, gensets are excellent solutions for long-term outage protection and to backup your most critical operations.
